Ingredients

  • 1 lb shrimp, peeled & deveined
  • 12 oz penne or spaghetti, cooked & drained
  • 4 tbsp butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • Juice of 1 lemon
  • ½ tsp red pepper flakes (optional for heat)
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • Salt & pepper, to taste
  • ½ cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • ¼ cup fresh parsley, chopped

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease a baking dish.
  • Cook the Shrimp:
    • In a large skillet, melt butter over medium heat.
    • Add garlic, red pepper flakes, and shrimp; cook until shrimp turn pink (about 3 minutes).
    • Stir in lemon juice, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Remove shrimp and set aside.
  • Make the Sauce:
    • In the same skillet, add heavy cream and bring to a simmer.
    • Stir in Parmesan cheese and mix until smooth.
  • Assemble the Bake:
    • Toss cooked pasta with the creamy sauce.
    • Fold in shrimp and transfer everything to the baking dish.
    • Sprinkle mozzarella cheese on top.
  • Bake:
    • Bake for 15-20 minutes, or until cheese is golden and bubbly.
  • Garnish & Serve:
    • Garnish with chopped fresh parsley and serve.

Notes

  • You can substitute the shrimp with chicken or another protein for variety.
  • For added heat, adjust the red pepper flakes to taste.
