Ingredients
- Spam, 1 can, cubed
- Instant Ramen Noodles, 2 packs
- Eggs, 2, soft-boiled
- Green Onions, 2 stalks, sliced
- Soy Sauce, 2 tablespoons
- Sesame Oil, 1 teaspoon
- Brown Sugar, 1 teaspoon
- Garlic, 2 cloves, minced
- Black Sesame Seeds, 1 teaspoon (optional)
- Chili Flakes, optional
Instructions
- Preheat a pot of water for the eggs and noodles, and a skillet over medium heat.
- Mix soy sauce, sesame oil, brown sugar, and garlic in a small bowl.
- Cook cubed Spam in the skillet until golden and crispy, then remove.
- Soft-boil the eggs for 6-7 minutes, then peel and halve.
- Boil ramen noodles until just done, strain, and add to the skillet with the sauce.
- Add crispy Spam back to the noodles, toss to coat and cook for another minute.
- Plate the noodles, top with egg halves, sprinkle with green onions and sesame seeds, and serve hot.
Notes
- Use low-sodium ramen seasoning or make your own sauce to control salt.
- Cook Spam in batches for even crispiness.
- Soft-boil eggs carefully to achieve a slightly runny yolk.
- Leftovers can be stored in the fridge for up to 3 days.
