Ingredients
Scale
½ cup unsalted butter
½ cup hot sauce (like Frank’s RedHot)
1 tablespoon white vinegar
¼ teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
¼ teaspoon garlic powder
Pinch of cayenne pepper (optional, for extra heat)
Salt (to taste)
Instructions
In a small saucepan over low heat, melt the butter. Do not let it brown.
Add hot sauce, vinegar, Worcestershire, garlic powder, cayenne (if using), and salt. Whisk until fully combined.
Let the sauce simmer gently for 2–3 minutes, stirring occasionally, to blend the flavors.
Taste and adjust seasoning—more hot sauce for spice, more butter for milder flavor.
Toss with freshly cooked chicken wings or use as a dipping sauce for tenders, veggies, or fries.
Notes
Store leftover sauce in an airtight container in the fridge for up to a week. Reheat gently before using.
Great for cauliflower wings, sandwiches, and burgers too.
