  • Total Time: 30 minutes
  • Yield: 6 servings 1x

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup cooked steak, chopped
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 12 egg roll wrappers
  • Vegetable oil, for frying

Instructions

  1. Heat about 2 inches of vegetable oil in a deep skillet or pot to 350°F.
  2. In a bowl, scramble the eggs and cook them softly in a pan.
  3. Mix the cooked eggs with chopped steak, shredded cheddar, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
  4. Lay out the egg roll wrappers and prepare a small bowl of water.
  5. Spoon the filling into the center of each wrapper. Fold and roll tightly, sealing the edge with water.
  6. Fry 2–3 rolls at a time until golden and crispy, about 2–3 minutes per side.
  7. Drain on a wire rack with paper towels underneath.
  8. Serve hot with your favorite dipping sauce.

Notes

  • Don’t overfill the wrappers to avoid bursting during frying.
  • Use a thermometer to maintain proper oil temperature for best results.
  • Freeze extras for quick snacks later on.
