Ingredients
Scale
2 ribeye or sirloin steaks
½ lb shrimp, peeled and deveined
2 tbsp olive oil (divided)
2 tbsp butter
2 garlic cloves, minced
1 tsp Cajun seasoning (divided)
1 cup heavy cream
½ cup chicken broth
¼ cup grated Parmesan cheese
Salt and black pepper to taste
Fresh chopped parsley (for garnish)
Instructions
Season the Steaks – Coat steaks with half of the Cajun seasoning, salt, and black pepper.
Sear the Steaks – Heat 1 tbsp olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Sear steaks for 3-4 minutes per side (for medium-rare) or to preferred doneness. Remove and let rest.
Cook the Shrimp – In the same skillet, melt 1 tbsp butter. Add shrimp, season with remaining Cajun seasoning, and cook for 2-3 minutes until pink. Remove and set aside.
Make the Sauce – Add remaining butter and garlic to the skillet. Sauté until fragrant. Pour in chicken broth, scraping up browned bits, then stir in heavy cream and Parmesan. Simmer for 3-4 minutes until thickened.
Combine – Return shrimp to the skillet and toss to coat in the creamy Cajun sauce.
Serve & Enjoy – Top steaks with shrimp and a generous drizzle of Cajun cream sauce. Garnish with fresh parsley and serve hot!
