Ingredients

  • 2 sheets Puff Pastry, thawed
  • 8 oz Cream Cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup Powdered Sugar
  • 1 tsp Vanilla Extract
  • 1 cup Fresh Strawberries, chopped
  • 1 Egg, beaten (for egg wash)
  • 1 tbsp Lemon Juice
  • 3/4 cup Powdered Sugar (for glaze)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a bowl, mix softened cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla until smooth. Set aside.
  3. Lightly toss chopped strawberries with a bit of sugar if desired.
  4. Cut thawed puff pastry sheets into 3 strips each.
  5. Spread cream cheese mixture down the center of each strip and top with strawberries.
  6. Fold edges slightly and twist into rope shapes. Place on baking sheet.
  7. Brush with beaten egg and bake for 18–22 minutes until golden brown.
  8. Mix lemon juice and powdered sugar to make glaze, then drizzle over cooled twists.
