Ingredients

Scale
  • ⅔ cup boiling water
  • 3 ounces Jello Strawberry Flavor
  • 1 cup ice cold water
  • 16 ounces Cool Whip

  • 1 ready-to-use graham cracker crumb crust, 9-inch

Instructions

  • Boil the Water:
Boil ⅔ cup of water as you prepare the other ingredients.

  • Dissolve the Jello:
Stir together the boiling water and strawberry Jello in a bowl. Mix for about 2 minutes until the Jello is completely dissolved.

  • Add Ice Cold Water:
Add the 1 cup of ice-cold water to the gelatin mixture and stir until it begins to slightly thicken.

  • Whisk in Cool Whip:
Whisk in the 2 cups of Cool Whip until well blended, ensuring the mixture is smooth and creamy.

  • Refrigerate the Filling:
Place the pie filling in the refrigerator for 30 minutes to allow it to set up a bit.

  • Assemble the Pie:
Smooth the cooled filling into the prepared graham cracker crust. Refrigerate the pie for at least 4 hours or overnight to allow it to fully set before serving.

Notes

  • For extra flavor, top the pie with fresh sliced strawberries or a few additional dollops of Cool Whip before serving.
  • You can substitute the graham cracker crust with an Oreo or other cookie crust if preferred.

  • This pie can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 3 days, but it’s best when served fresh.
