A warm and comforting beverage, Sweet Cinnamon Milk Tea combines the robust flavor of black tea with the sweetness of maple syrup and the aromatic essence of cinnamon and vanilla. Perfect for cozy moments or a delightful afternoon pick-me-up!

Ingredients

  • 3 cinnamon sticks
  • 3 black tea bags
  • 1½ cups milk (2% or whole milk recommended)
  • 1 tablespoon maple syrup
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 cups water

Instructions

  • Boil Water with Cinnamon: In a small saucepan, combine 2 cups of water and the cinnamon sticks. Bring to a boil over medium heat.
  • Steep Tea: Once boiling, remove the saucepan from heat. Add the black tea bags, cover the pot, and let the tea steep for 7 minutes.
  • Heat Milk: While the tea is steeping, warm the milk in the microwave or in another saucepan until it’s hot but not boiling. Set aside.
  • Combine Ingredients: After 7 minutes, remove the tea bags and cinnamon sticks from the saucepan. Stir in the maple syrup and vanilla extract until well combined.
  • Add Milk: Pour the warmed milk into the tea mixture, stirring gently to combine.
  • Serve: Divide the tea evenly between two cups. Serve immediately and enjoy!

Notes

  • For a dairy-free version, substitute the milk with almond or oat milk.
  • Adjust the sweetness by adding more or less maple syrup depending on your preference.
  • You can top with whipped cream for an extra indulgent touch!
