This easy and delicious Taco Soup made in the slow cooker is the perfect hearty meal for any occasion. With simple ingredients like ground beef, beans, tomatoes, and taco seasoning, it’s a flavorful and comforting dish.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 onion, diced
  • 315 oz cans chili beans
  • 1 can tomato sauce
  • 1 can Rotel diced tomatoes
  • 1 cup water
  • 23 Tablespoons taco seasoning
  • Salt and pepper, to taste

Instructions

  • In a pan, brown the ground beef. Once browned, add the diced onion and cook until fragrant.
  • Add 1 tablespoon of taco seasoning and mix well to combine.
  • Transfer the seasoned beef and onions to the slow cooker (crockpot).
  • Add the chili beans, tomato sauce, water, and diced tomatoes to the slow cooker.
  • Sprinkle the remaining taco seasoning and stir to combine.
  • Cook on high for 4 hours or low for 6-8 hours.
  • Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  • Before serving, garnish with extra cheese and sour cream, if desired. Enjoy!
