  • 2 tablespoons butter (28 g)

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, heavy cream, granulated sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth.
  2. Heat a nonstick skillet or griddle over medium heat and melt butter evenly across the surface.
  3. Dip each slice of brioche bread into the custard mixture, coating both sides lightly.
  4. Place soaked bread onto the hot skillet and cook for 3 to 4 minutes per side until golden brown and set.
  5. In a separate bowl, mix mascarpone cheese with powdered sugar until smooth and creamy.
  6. Stack cooked french toast slices, spreading mascarpone mixture between layers.
  7. Dust the top generously with cocoa powder and drizzle with chocolate sauce before serving warm.
