Ingredients
Scale
- 1 ball Pizza Dough (about 250g)
- 1 cup Fresh Mozzarella, sliced
- 1 to 2 teaspoons Truffle Oil
- 1/4 cup Parmesan Cheese, shaved
- Black Truffle (optional), a few thin shavings
- 1 tablespoon Olive Oil
- 1 small Garlic Clove, minced (optional)
- Fresh Thyme or Parsley, a few sprigs
- Salt and Pepper, to taste
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 475°F (245°C) and place a pizza stone or baking sheet inside to heat up for 30 minutes.
- Slice mozzarella and parmesan, mince garlic, and chop herbs if using.
- Roll out the dough on a floured surface into a 10–12 inch round. Place on parchment paper.
- Brush dough with olive oil, then layer garlic, mozzarella, and parmesan evenly on top.
- Transfer pizza with parchment onto the hot stone or sheet. Bake for 8–12 minutes until golden and bubbly.
- Drizzle with truffle oil and top with herbs and optional truffle shavings after baking.
- Slice and serve hot.
Notes
- Do not add truffle oil before baking, as heat dulls its flavor.
- Use parchment paper for easy handling and cleanup.
- Add toppings sparingly to avoid a soggy crust.
