- 4 slices sliced bread
- 170 grams cooked turkey, sliced
- 2 slices cheese
- 1 medium tomato, sliced
- 2 tablespoons butter, softened
- 2 tablespoons mayonnaise (optional)
Instructions
- Heat a skillet over medium heat until evenly warm.
- Spread mayonnaise on one side of each bread slice if using.
- Lightly butter the outer sides of the bread.
- Layer turkey, cheese, and tomato between two slices of bread with buttered sides facing out.
- Place the sandwich in the skillet and cook for 3 to 4 minutes per side until golden and crisp.
- Cover briefly to fully melt the cheese.
- Remove from heat, slice, and serve warm.
Notes
- Cook over medium heat to avoid burning the bread.
- Pat tomato slices dry to prevent sogginess.
- Let the sandwich rest for one minute before slicing.
