Ingredients

Scale
  • 12 dinner rolls, cut in half
  • 1 pound lean ground beef
  • 1 tablespoon Better Than Bouillon Beef
  • ¼ teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 cup yellow onion, finely chopped
  • 1012 Kraft American Cheese Slices (cut each slice into 4 squares)
  • 2024 dill pickle chips
  • ¼ cup water
  • ⅛ teaspoon salt
  • ⅛ teaspoon ground black pepper
  • Optional: ketchup, mustard

Instructions

  • Prepare the Beef Mixture:
    • In a large bowl, combine the ground beef, Better Than Bouillon Beef, and garlic powder. Mix until everything is evenly combined using a spoon or your hands.
  • Form the Patties:
    • Line a 9×13 baking sheet with parchment paper. Add the beef mixture and spread it out evenly to form a flat layer.
    • Use a knife to cut the beef into 12 equal squares (about the size of the dinner rolls). Make 5 small holes in each patty using the end of a spoon.
    • Freeze the beef patties for 3 hours.
  • Cook the Sliders:
    • Preheat the oven to 450°F (230°C).
    • Remove the beef from the freezer, discard the parchment paper, and place the beef patties on a baking sheet.
    • Spread the chopped onions evenly on the baking sheet and add ¼ cup of water. Place the frozen patties directly on top of the onions.
    • Sprinkle with salt and pepper, then bake for 10 minutes, allowing the beef to steam-cook.
  • Assemble the Sliders:
    • After 10 minutes, remove the baking sheet from the oven.
    • Place the bottom half of each dinner roll on top of each beef patty. Arrange the tops of the rolls on top in a staggered pattern.
    • Return the sheet to the oven and bake for another 3 minutes.
  • Finish and Serve:
    • Remove from the oven, and using a spatula, scoop up the sliders with the onions and the bottom buns.
    • Add 3 slices of cheese on top of each slider.
    • Optionally, add ketchup, mustard, and dill pickle chips.
    • Top with the top bun and serve immediately.
