Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb ground chicken
  • 1 cup fresh spinach, finely chopped
  • ½ cup shredded white cheddar cheese
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • ½ teaspoon onion powder
  • ½ teaspoon paprika
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • ¼ teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil (for cooking)
  • 4 burger buns
  • Toppings: lettuce, tomato, red onion, mayo, or honey mustard

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, combine ground chicken, chopped spinach, shredded white cheddar, minced garlic, onion powder, paprika, black pepper, and red pepper flakes (if using). Mix until well combined.
  2. Divide the mixture into 4 equal portions and shape each into a patty.
  3. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Cook the patties for 5–6 minutes per side, until golden brown and cooked through (165°F/74°C internal temperature).
  4. Toast the burger buns if desired. Place each patty on a bun and add your favorite toppings.
  5. Serve immediately and enjoy!

Notes

  • For added flavor, consider adding a slice of white cheddar cheese on top of the patty during the last minute of cooking to melt.
  • These burgers can also be grilled over medium heat for 4–5 minutes per side.
  • For a lower-carb option, serve the patties in lettuce wraps instead of buns.
  • Leftover patties can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 3 days or frozen for longer storage.
