These White Tuna Balls are a delicious and quick snack or meal made in the air fryer. Packed with tuna, cheese, and flavorful seasonings, they’re crispy on the outside and tender on the inside—perfect for those who prefer warm tuna.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 can white tuna (drained)
  • 1 egg
  • 1 cup shredded cheese (e.g., Colby)
  • ¼ cup Parmesan cheese (or use organic shaker Parmesan)
  • Salt, to taste
  • Pepper, to taste
  • Garlic powder, to taste
  • Onion powder, to taste
  • Optional: Real onions, chopped (if preferred)

Instructions

  • Prepare the Mixture: In a bowl, mix together the drained tuna, egg, shredded cheese, Parmesan cheese, and your seasonings (salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, or fresh onions). Mix thoroughly until the ingredients are well combined.
  • Form the Balls: Shape the mixture into small balls, about 1–2 inches in diameter, and roll them in additional Parmesan cheese.
  • Air Fry: Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C). Place the tuna balls in the air fryer basket, making sure they are not overcrowded. Cook for 10 minutes, flipping halfway through for even cooking.
  • Serve: Once golden and crispy on the outside, remove the tuna balls from the air fryer and serve warm.

Notes

  • Adjust the cooking time slightly depending on the size of the balls and your air fryer model.
  • You can experiment with different cheeses or add fresh herbs like parsley or basil for extra flavor.
  • If you prefer a softer texture, reduce the cooking time slightly and don’t roll in as much Parmesan.
