- 4 cod fillets, about 6 ounces each
- 3 tablespoons white miso paste
- 2 tablespoons honey
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon sesame oil
- 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon fresh ginger, grated
- 1 tablespoon sesame seeds
- 2 tablespoons green onions, sliced
- Cooking spray for the air fryer basket
Instructions
- Preheat the air fryer to 400 degrees Fahrenheit for 3 minutes.
- In a bowl, whisk together white miso paste, honey, soy sauce, sesame oil, rice vinegar, garlic, and ginger until smooth.
- Lightly spray the air fryer basket with cooking spray.
- Pat the cod fillets dry and brush the glaze generously over each fillet.
- Place the cod in the air fryer basket in a single layer.
- Cook for 8 to 10 minutes until the fish flakes easily and the glaze becomes caramelized.
- Sprinkle sesame seeds and sliced green onions over the cod before serving.
- Serve hot with rice or vegetables.
Notes
- Pat the cod dry before glazing for better caramelization.
- Do not overcrowd the air fryer basket.
- Add a squeeze of lime juice before serving for extra brightness.
- Store leftovers in the refrigerator for up to 2 days.
