Ingredients
Scale
- 4 cod fillets, about 6 ounces each
- 2 tablespoons white miso paste
- 1 tablespoon honey
- 1 tablespoon low sodium soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
- 1 teaspoon sesame oil
- 1 teaspoon fresh ginger, grated
- 1 small garlic clove, grated
- 2 light sprays avocado oil spray
- 2 cups green beans, trimmed
- 4 lemon wedges
- 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped
Instructions
- Preheat the air fryer to 390°F for 3 minutes.
- In a small bowl, whisk together white miso paste, honey, low sodium soy sauce, rice vinegar, sesame oil, grated ginger, and grated garlic until smooth.
- Lightly coat the air fryer basket or parchment liner with avocado oil spray.
- Pat the cod fillets dry, then brush the tops and sides with the miso glaze.
- Arrange the cod fillets in the air fryer basket with space between them.
- Air fry for 8 to 10 minutes, until the fish flakes easily and reaches 145°F in the center.
- Add the green beans during the last 5 minutes if there is enough room in the basket.
- Brush the cod with a thin final layer of glaze during the last 1 to 2 minutes of cooking.
- Sprinkle with chopped parsley and serve warm with green beans and lemon wedges.
Notes
- Use white miso for the mildest, smoothest flavor.
- Pat the cod dry before glazing so the sauce clings well.
- Do not overcrowd the air fryer basket, cook in batches if needed.
- Check the cod early because thinner fillets cook quickly.
