  • 1 (16 ounce) package breakfast sausage
  • ¼ cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 cups milk
  • Ground black pepper to taste
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil (optional)
  • 1 (12-inch) pre-baked pizza crust
  • Cooking spray
  • 6 eggs
  • ¼ cup milk
  • 1 cup shredded Cheddar cheese (or as desired)

Instructions

  • Cook the Sausage Gravy:
    Heat a large skillet over medium heat. Cook and stir sausage in the hot skillet until browned, 5 to 7 minutes. Drain and discard excess grease. Stir in the flour until dissolved, then add the 2 cups of milk. Stir occasionally until the gravy reaches your desired consistency, about 10 minutes. Season with black pepper.
  • Prepare the Pizza Crust:
    Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C). Place the pizza crust on a baking sheet and brush with olive oil. Spread half of the sausage gravy over the crust.
  • Scramble the Eggs:
    Spray a large skillet with cooking spray and warm over medium-high heat. Whisk the eggs and ¼ cup milk together in a bowl. Pour into the skillet and cook, stirring occasionally, until eggs are set, about 5 minutes.
  • Assemble the Pizza:
    Top the pizza with scrambled eggs and shredded Cheddar cheese.
  • Bake the Pizza:
    Bake in the preheated oven for 10 to 15 minutes, or until the crust is golden brown and the cheese is bubbling.
  • Serve:
    Remove from the oven and slice. Serve hot for a delicious breakfast pizza!
