- 2 large boneless skinless chicken breasts, sliced in half lengthwise
- 12 ounces spaghetti pasta
- 1 1/2 cups freshly grated asiago cheese

- 2 cups heavy cream

- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 2 tablespoons olive oil

- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
Instructions
- Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil and heat a large skillet over medium heat.
- Season the chicken with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning.
- Add olive oil and butter to the skillet, then cook the chicken for 5 to 6 minutes per side until golden and cooked through. Remove and let rest before slicing.
- Cook the spaghetti until al dente according to package instructions.
- In the same skillet, sauté garlic for 30 seconds until fragrant.
- Pour in chicken broth and heavy cream, stirring gently.
- Add asiago and parmesan cheese gradually, stirring until smooth and creamy.
- Add the cooked spaghetti to the sauce and toss until evenly coated.
- Use reserved pasta water if needed to loosen the sauce.
- Top the pasta with sliced chicken, parsley, and extra parmesan before serving.

- Freshly grated cheese melts smoother than pre-shredded cheese.
- Reserve pasta water for adjusting sauce consistency.
- Reheat leftovers gently with a splash of cream or milk.
