Ingredients
Scale
1 lb steak (sirloin, ribeye, or your choice), cut into bite-sized pieces
½ lb large shrimp, peeled and deveined
3 tbsp olive oil
3 tbsp unsalted butter, divided
4 cloves garlic, minced
1 tbsp fresh lemon juice
1 tsp smoked paprika
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp onion powder
Salt and pepper to taste
2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Lemon wedges (for serving)
Instructions
Season the Steak and Shrimp – In a bowl, season steak bites with garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper. In another bowl, season the shrimp with salt, pepper, and fresh lemon juice.
Cook the Steak Bites – Heat 2 tbsp olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Add steak bites in a single layer, ensuring they don’t overcrowd the pan. Sear for 2-3 minutes per side until browned and cooked to your liking. Remove from the skillet and set aside.
Cook the Shrimp – In the same skillet, add 1 tbsp olive oil and 1 tbsp butter. Cook shrimp for 2-3 minutes per side until pink and opaque. Remove from the skillet and set aside with the steak bites.
Make the Garlic Butter Sauce – Reduce heat to medium. Melt the remaining 2 tbsp butter in the same skillet. Add minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant. Add a splash of lemon juice, scraping up any browned bits from the skillet.
Combine and Serve – Return the steak bites and shrimp to the skillet, tossing them in the garlic butter sauce. Garnish with fresh parsley and serve with lemon wedges on the side.
Notes
You can substitute the steak for chicken if preferred.
Adjust the lemon juice based on your preference for a more tangy flavor.
Serve with rice, pasta, or a fresh salad for a complete meal.
