A mouthwatering combination of tender steak bites and juicy shrimp, all smothered in a rich garlic butter sauce with a hint of lemon.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb steak (sirloin, ribeye, or your choice), cut into bite-sized pieces
  • ½ lb large shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 3 tbsp olive oil
  • 3 tbsp unsalted butter, divided
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tbsp fresh lemon juice
  • 1 tsp smoked paprika
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
  • Lemon wedges (for serving)

Instructions

  • Season the Steak and Shrimp – In a bowl, season steak bites with garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper. In another bowl, season the shrimp with salt, pepper, and fresh lemon juice.
  • Cook the Steak Bites – Heat 2 tbsp olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Add steak bites in a single layer, ensuring they don’t overcrowd the pan. Sear for 2-3 minutes per side until browned and cooked to your liking. Remove from the skillet and set aside.
  • Cook the Shrimp – In the same skillet, add 1 tbsp olive oil and 1 tbsp butter. Cook shrimp for 2-3 minutes per side until pink and opaque. Remove from the skillet and set aside with the steak bites.
  • Make the Garlic Butter Sauce – Reduce heat to medium. Melt the remaining 2 tbsp butter in the same skillet. Add minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant. Add a splash of lemon juice, scraping up any browned bits from the skillet.
  • Combine and Serve – Return the steak bites and shrimp to the skillet, tossing them in the garlic butter sauce. Garnish with fresh parsley and serve with lemon wedges on the side.

Notes

  • You can substitute the steak for chicken if preferred.
  • Adjust the lemon juice based on your preference for a more tangy flavor.
  • Serve with rice, pasta, or a fresh salad for a complete meal.
