Ingredients
Scale
1 lb (450g) sirloin steak, cut into bite-sized pieces
Salt and pepper to taste
2 tbsp (28g) butter
5 cloves garlic, minced
½ cup (120ml) beef broth
½ cup (120ml) heavy cream
½ cup (50g) grated Parmesan cheese
Fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions
Season the steak: Season the steak bites with salt and pepper.
Cook the steak: In a skillet, melt butter over medium-high heat. Add the steak bites and cook until browned, about 3-4 minutes. Remove steak from the skillet and set aside.
Sauté garlic: In the same skillet, add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant, about 1 minute.
Make the sauce: Pour in the beef broth, scraping the bottom of the skillet to release any browned bits. Stir in heavy cream and Parmesan cheese. Simmer until the sauce thickens, about 2-3 minutes.
Combine steak and sauce: Return the steak to the skillet, coating it in the creamy sauce. Cook for an additional 2 minutes to heat through.
Garnish and serve: Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
Notes
You can substitute chicken broth for a lighter sauce.
This dish pairs wonderfully with pasta, rice, or crusty bread for dipping.
Adjust the seasoning to your taste with extra garlic or Parmesan.
