Tender, juicy steak bites sautéed in garlic butter and coated in a creamy Parmesan sauce. This indulgent dish is perfect for a quick and flavorful dinner, served with pasta or crusty bread.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb (450g) sirloin steak, cut into bite-sized pieces
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 tbsp (28g) butter
  • 5 cloves garlic, minced
  • ½ cup (120ml) beef broth
  • ½ cup (120ml) heavy cream
  • ½ cup (50g) grated Parmesan cheese
  • Fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions

  • Season the steak: Season the steak bites with salt and pepper.
  • Cook the steak: In a skillet, melt butter over medium-high heat. Add the steak bites and cook until browned, about 3-4 minutes. Remove steak from the skillet and set aside.
  • Sauté garlic: In the same skillet, add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant, about 1 minute.
  • Make the sauce: Pour in the beef broth, scraping the bottom of the skillet to release any browned bits. Stir in heavy cream and Parmesan cheese. Simmer until the sauce thickens, about 2-3 minutes.
  • Combine steak and sauce: Return the steak to the skillet, coating it in the creamy sauce. Cook for an additional 2 minutes to heat through.
  • Garnish and serve: Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.

Notes

  • You can substitute chicken broth for a lighter sauce.
  • This dish pairs wonderfully with pasta, rice, or crusty bread for dipping.
  • Adjust the seasoning to your taste with extra garlic or Parmesan.
