Ingredients

Scale
  • 12 oz linguine
  • 1 lb sirloin steak
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1/4 cup Parmesan, grated
  • 1 tsp black pepper
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp red pepper flakes

Instructions

  • Cook the Linguine:
Cook the linguine according to the package instructions. Drain and set aside.

  • Sear the Steak:
In a large skillet, melt 1 tbsp butter over medium-high heat. Season the sirloin steak with salt and pepper, then sear for 3-4 minutes on each side until it reaches your desired doneness. Remove the steak from the pan and set aside to rest before slicing thinly.

  • Make the Garlic Butter Sauce:
In the same skillet, add the remaining 1 tbsp butter and sauté the minced garlic for 1-2 minutes until fragrant. Add the heavy cream, Parmesan cheese, black pepper, and red pepper flakes. Stir well and let it simmer for 2-3 minutes until the sauce thickens.

  • Combine Noodles and Sauce:
Add the cooked linguine to the skillet and toss in the garlic butter sauce until well-coated.

  • Serve:
Plate the noodles and top with the sliced steak. Serve immediately and enjoy!

Notes

  • You can substitute the sirloin steak with another cut of beef like ribeye or flank steak for a different flavor.
  • For extra creaminess, add more Parmesan cheese or a splash more heavy cream.
  • Adjust the red pepper flakes for the desired spice level.
