These Garlic Parmesan New York Pizza Rolls are a cheesy, garlicky, and irresistible snack or appetizer. Rolled with marinara sauce, mozzarella, and Parmesan cheese, then topped with a flavorful garlic butter mixture, these pizza rolls are baked to perfection for a bubbly, golden finish.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound pizza dough (homemade or store-bought)
  • 1 cup marinara sauce
  • 1½ cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons butter, melted
  • 1 tablespoon Italian seasoning
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Dough:
Roll out the pizza dough into a large rectangle, about 12×16 inches. Spread the marinara sauce evenly across the dough, leaving a small border around the edges.
  2. Add Cheese:
Sprinkle the shredded mozzarella and half of the grated Parmesan over the marinara sauce, making sure the cheese is evenly distributed.
  3. Roll and Slice:
Carefully roll the dough tightly into a log, like a cinnamon roll, and slice it into 1-inch rolls. Place the rolls in a greased 9×13-inch baking dish.
  4. Garlic Butter Topping:
In a small bowl, mix the melted butter, minced garlic, Italian seasoning, and the remaining Parmesan cheese. Brush this mixture generously over the top of the rolls.
  5. Bake:
Bake in a preheated oven at 375°F for 20-25 minutes or until golden and bubbly.
  6. Serve:
Garnish with fresh chopped parsley and serve warm. Enjoy the cheesy, garlicky goodness!

Notes

  • These pizza rolls can be made ahead and stored in the refrigerator before baking. Just bake them fresh when ready to serve.
  • Feel free to add extra toppings like pepperoni, sausage, or olives before rolling.
