Pan-Seared Ginger Miso Cod

A rich and flavorful pan-seared cod glazed with ginger miso, perfectly caramelized and served over creamy mashed potatoes.

Ingredients

  • 4 cod fillets (6 oz each)
  • 3 tablespoons white miso paste
  • 1 tablespoon fresh grated ginger
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons chopped green onions
  • 2 cups mashed potatoes

Instructions

  1. Heat a pan over medium high heat.
  2. Mix miso paste, ginger, soy sauce, honey, and sesame oil.
  3. Add olive oil to the pan.
  4. Pat cod dry and coat with glaze.
  5. Cook 3 to 4 minutes per side until golden and flaky.
  6. Spoon glaze over fish while cooking.
  7. Garnish with green onions and serve over mashed potatoes.
