- 4 cod fillets (about 6 ounces each)
- 3 tablespoons red miso paste
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons honey
- 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
- 1 teaspoon sesame oil
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon fresh ginger, grated
- 2 tablespoons green onions, sliced
- 1 teaspoon sesame seeds
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400°F.
- In a bowl, mix miso paste, soy sauce, honey, rice vinegar, sesame oil, garlic, and ginger until smooth.
- Lightly grease a baking dish.
- Place cod fillets in the dish and coat evenly with the glaze.
- Bake for 12 to 15 minutes.
- Broil for 2 to 3 minutes until caramelized.
- Garnish with green onions and sesame seeds, then serve.
Notes
- Do not overcook the fish to keep it tender
- Adjust sweetness or saltiness to taste
- Best served fresh but can be reheated gently
