- 4 cod fillets, about 6 ounces each
- 3 tablespoons white miso paste
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon sesame oil
- 2 tablespoons honey
- 1 tablespoon fresh ginger, grated
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
- 1 tablespoon toasted sesame seeds
- 2 green onions, sliced thinly
- 4 cups cooked white rice
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit and lightly grease a baking dish.
- In a bowl, whisk together miso paste, soy sauce, sesame oil, honey, ginger, garlic, and rice vinegar until smooth.
- Pat cod fillets dry and place them in the prepared baking dish.
- Spoon the glaze evenly over the cod fillets.
- Bake for 12 to 15 minutes until the fish flakes easily with a fork.
- Broil for 1 to 2 minutes to caramelize the glaze slightly.
- Sprinkle with sesame seeds and sliced green onions.
- Serve hot over cooked white rice.

- Use fresh ginger for the brightest flavor.
- Do not overcook the cod to keep it tender and flaky.
- Toast sesame seeds before serving for extra aroma.
