- 4 cod fillets (6 oz each)
- 3 tablespoons white miso paste
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons honey
- 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
- 1 teaspoon sesame oil
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon fresh ginger, grated
- 1 tablespoon chili paste
- 2 green onions, sliced
- 1 tablespoon sesame seeds
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400°F.
- In a saucepan, combine miso paste, soy sauce, honey, rice vinegar, sesame oil, garlic, ginger, and chili paste.
- Lightly grease a baking dish.
- Place cod fillets in the dish and coat evenly with glaze.
- Bake for 12 to 15 minutes until fish flakes easily.
- Broil for 2 minutes to caramelize the glaze.
- Garnish with green onions and sesame seeds and serve.
Notes
- Do not overcook the fish to keep it tender.
- Adjust spice level by modifying chili paste.
- Use fresh cod for best results.
