Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound sirloin steak, thinly sliced
  • 1 (20-ounce) package frozen cheese ravioli
  • 4 tablespoons butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 cup beef broth
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil

Instructions

  • Heat olive oil in a large cast-iron skillet over medium-high heat. Add steak and cook until browned, about 3-4 minutes. Season with salt and pepper. Remove steak from skillet and set aside.
  • Melt butter in the same skillet. Add garlic and cook until fragrant, about 1 minute.
  • Pour in beef broth and bring to a simmer, scraping up any browned bits from the bottom of the skillet.
  • Add frozen ravioli to the skillet and cook according to package directions, about 5-7 minutes, or until tender.
  • Return steak to the skillet. Stir in Parmesan cheese and parsley. Cook for another minute, until cheese is melted and sauce is slightly thickened.
  • Serve immediately, garnished with extra parsley and Parmesan cheese, if desired.

Notes

  • Ensure the steak is cooked to a safe internal temperature to prevent foodborne illness.
  • Feel free to use any frozen ravioli flavor you like, but cheese ravioli is the classic choice for this dish.
